How Are Our Products Described?

We take reasonable care to describe our products accurately.

Product information may include:

  • Dimensions and approximate measurements
  • Materials and filament finish
  • Colours
  • Package contents
  • Recommended age information
  • Safety warnings
  • Intended use
  • Care instructions
  • Processing and dispatch estimates
  • Product photographs or videos

A supplied product must materially match its description and any specification agreed with you.

Photographs and Colours

We aim to display product photographs and colours accurately. Colour appearance may vary because of device settings, screen calibration, lighting, photography conditions, filament batches and production processes.

A small difference in colour appearance is not necessarily a fault. A significant difference from the description or agreed colour may still give you consumer rights.

Normal Characteristics of 3D Printed Products

3D printed products are manufactured layer by layer.

Normal characteristics may include:

  • Visible layer lines
  • Minor surface texture
  • Small support marks
  • Slight differences in finish
  • Minor variations between filament batches
  • Small dimensional differences within reasonable manufacturing tolerances

These characteristics are not necessarily defects where they are consistent with the description, photographs, agreed specification, intended function and reasonable quality expectations for a 3D printed product.

This does not affect your rights where a product is unsafe, damaged, structurally defective, materially different from its description, missing important parts or not fit for its normal or agreed purpose.

Materials

Our products may use PLA based filaments, including standard PLA, PLA Plus or silk PLA, depending on the design, required strength and intended finish.

The filament formulation and finish may be selected by Aventine Printz Ltd unless the product page or accepted custom specification states otherwise.

Contact us before ordering where material suitability is important for a particular intended use.

What Product Safety Information Should Customers Follow?

Aventine Printz Ltd is responsible for ensuring that products placed on the market meet applicable product safety, labelling and information requirements.

Product specific warnings, instructions and age information may appear:

  • On the product page
  • On the product
  • On a label
  • On the packaging
  • In an accompanying information document

Customers must read and follow all supplied warnings and instructions.

Stop Using a Damaged Product

Stop using a product if it breaks, cracks, develops sharp edges, develops loose parts, shows significant heat damage or appears unsafe.

Keep the product away from users for whom it may no longer be suitable and contact us to report the concern.

Children and Small Parts

Some products may contain small parts or may develop smaller parts if damaged.

Age suitability depends on the individual product. Do not assume that every product is suitable for children or for children of every age.

Where adult supervision is recommended or required, the supervising adult should review the warnings, inspect the product before use and remove it from use if it becomes damaged.

Medical and Therapeutic Information

Unless a product page expressly and lawfully states otherwise, Aventine Printz Ltd products are not medical devices.

They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a medical condition or to replace medical, therapeutic, educational or accessibility advice.

Descriptions referring to focus, sensory activity, calming routines or everyday support describe general intended use and do not make a medical claim.

How Is an Order Placed and Accepted?

Who May Place an Order?

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order through our website.

Checkout Process

The checkout process allows you to:

  • Select products and available options
  • Review product quantities
  • Enter billing and delivery details
  • Review delivery methods and charges
  • Review the total amount payable
  • Correct information before payment
  • Select an available payment method
  • Confirm that the order involves payment

You are responsible for checking the products, options, quantities, delivery details and contact information before submitting the order.

Order Acknowledgement

After you place an order, we will normally send an automated email confirming that it has been received.

An automated order receipt does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.

Contract Formation

Unless we expressly state otherwise, a sales contract normally begins when we send an order processing or acceptance confirmation.

For a custom order, the contract may begin when we confirm acceptance of the agreed specification, price and production arrangement.

We may authorise or take payment before final acceptance. If we do not accept an order after receiving payment, we will cancel the payment or provide a full refund without unnecessary delay.

When We May Decline an Order

Before acceptance, we may decline an order for a reasonable reason, including:

  • The product is unavailable
  • A material pricing or product error has occurred
  • Payment was not authorised
  • The delivery address cannot be served
  • The order appears fraudulent or unauthorised
  • Required custom information was not provided
  • The requested product creates a safety or legal concern
  • A customer supplied design appears to infringe another person’s rights

We will notify you and refund any payment received for an order that we do not accept.

Changes to an Order

Contact us promptly if you need to correct or change an order.

We will try to make the requested change where production, packaging or dispatch processing has not progressed too far. We cannot guarantee that every change will be possible.

This operational limitation does not remove any statutory cancellation right.

How Are Prices and Payments Handled?

Prices

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling.

The total amount payable will be shown before you submit the order.

The checkout total may include:

  • The product price
  • Taxes that we are legally required to include
  • Delivery charges
  • Selected paid options
  • Agreed customisation charges

We will not add an optional paid extra without your express consent.

Future Price Changes

We may change prices for future purchases.

A later price change does not alter the agreed price of an accepted order unless you request a change, an obvious error is identified and an appropriate resolution is agreed, or the law permits the change.

Pricing and Product Errors

We take reasonable care to display accurate pricing and product information.

If an obvious error is identified before acceptance, we may decline the order and refund any payment received.

If an error is identified after acceptance, we will contact you and explain the available options. We will not automatically charge an additional amount without your agreement.

Payments

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.

By submitting payment information, you confirm that:

  • You are authorised to use the selected payment method
  • The payment information is accurate
  • Sufficient funds or credit are available

Payments may be processed by independent payment service providers.

We do not normally receive or store complete payment card numbers where those details are processed directly by the payment provider.

Discount Codes and Promotions

A discount code or promotion may be subject to conditions displayed with the offer.

Unless stated otherwise, a code must be entered before payment, has no cash value and cannot normally be applied retrospectively.

We may refuse an expired, invalid, unlawfully obtained or improperly used code.

Are All Products Always Available?

Products are subject to stock availability and production capacity.

Availability may change between adding a product to the basket and completing payment.

We may apply reasonable quantity restrictions because of:

  • Available stock
  • Production capacity
  • Safety concerns
  • Promotional conditions
  • Suspected fraud or unauthorised resale activity

If an accepted product becomes unavailable, we will contact you and provide an appropriate option, which may include a refund, replacement or revised timeframe agreed with you.

What Is the Difference Between Standard, Made to Order and Custom Products?

Standard Products

Most standard products are prepared for dispatch within 1 to 2 business days, normally 24 to 48 hours during the business week.

A business day means Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank and public holidays.

Made to Order Products

Some catalogue products are produced after an order is placed.

Made to order or high demand products are normally prepared within 3 to 5 business days unless another period is displayed before purchase.

A product is not automatically personalised merely because it is manufactured after ordering.

A standard catalogue product produced using standard purchasing options may still qualify for statutory change of mind cancellation rights.

Custom and Personalised Products

A custom product may be produced according to information supplied or approved by the customer.

Custom information may include:

  • Dimensions
  • Colours
  • Names or personal wording
  • Logos
  • Shapes
  • Reference images or files
  • Design instructions
  • Functional requirements

Before accepting a custom order, we may confirm the specification, price, estimated production time, delivery estimate, relevant safety restrictions and whether design approval is required.

You are responsible for reviewing the confirmed specification carefully.

Where a product is correctly produced according to an approved specification, a later preference for a different design does not necessarily mean that the supplied product is faulty.

This does not affect your rights where the product does not match the agreed specification or does not meet legal quality and safety requirements.

Changes to Custom Orders

Contact us promptly if you wish to change a custom order.

A change may not be possible after design preparation, material allocation, production, final approval or dispatch has started.

Where we agree to a change, we will confirm any effect on the price, production time, delivery time and final specification. No additional charge will be applied without your agreement.

What Rules Apply to Customer Supplied Designs?

Where you supply a design, image, logo, text, file, model or other material, you confirm that:

  • You own the material, or
  • You have permission to use it for the requested purpose

You grant Aventine Printz Ltd a limited licence to review, adapt where agreed, manufacture and deliver the requested product.

This licence is used only as reasonably necessary to communicate about and fulfil the request, meet legal obligations and resolve related disputes.

We may refuse a request that appears to:

  • Infringe intellectual property rights
  • Breach privacy rights
  • Contain unlawful material
  • Create an unacceptable safety risk
  • Promote hatred, abuse or illegal activity
  • Misrepresent another brand or organisation

Aventine Printz Ltd Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Aventine Printz Ltd retains ownership of:

  • Our existing product designs
  • Our branding and logos
  • Our product photographs and written content
  • Our production methods and templates
  • Our independently developed improvements and technical knowledge

Payment for a custom product does not automatically transfer ownership of our underlying production methods, standard design elements or intellectual property.

Any transfer or exclusive licence must be expressly agreed in writing.

How Are Orders Dispatched and Delivered?

Our complete delivery arrangements appear in the Shipping and Delivery Policy.

Standard Processing

1 to 2 business days

Most regular catalogue products are prepared within this period.

Made to Order Processing

3 to 5 business days

A different estimate may appear on the relevant product page.

Standard UK Delivery

2 to 4 business days

This estimate begins after the parcel has been dispatched.

Delivery Charge

Shown at checkout

The final available service and charge are displayed before payment.

These periods are estimates unless we expressly agree to a specific date.

Delivery Within the Agreed Period

We aim to deliver within the period shown before purchase or agreed with you.

Unless a different period has been agreed, goods will normally be delivered without unnecessary delay and within 30 days after the contract is formed.

Responsibility During Delivery

Where Aventine Printz Ltd arranges the delivery provider, the risk of loss or damage normally remains with us until the goods are physically delivered to:

  • You, or
  • Another person you nominated to receive them

Our responsibility does not end simply because an order has been dispatched.

A different position may apply where you independently arrange a delivery provider that we did not offer.

Lost, Delayed or Damaged Parcels

Contact us if a parcel is significantly delayed, lost, delivered incorrectly, marked as delivered but not received or damaged during delivery.

Where we arranged delivery, we will not require you to resolve our contractual delivery responsibility directly with the courier.

An appropriate resolution may include investigation, redelivery, replacement, refund or another solution agreed with you.

What Cancellation and Return Rights Apply?

Eligible Standard Products

Most eligible standard products purchased online may be cancelled without giving a reason.

You must normally tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days, beginning on the day after the goods come into your physical possession.

After notifying us, you normally have another 14 days to send the eligible goods back.

You may inspect and handle eligible goods in the same way that you reasonably would in a physical shop.

A lawful deduction may be made where handling beyond what was reasonably necessary has reduced the value of the product.

Custom and Personalised Product Exception

The statutory change of mind cancellation right may not apply to goods that are:

  • Made to your individual specifications, or
  • Clearly personalised for you

A product is not automatically excluded merely because it is 3D printed, manufactured after purchase or described as made to order.

The custom product exception does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, unsafe, incorrect, not as described or not fit for an agreed purpose.

Return Costs and Refunds

For an eligible change of mind return, the customer normally pays the direct return cost where this was explained before purchase.

Where cancellation is valid, the refund will include:

  • The price of the returned product
  • The cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery option where required by law

Refunds are normally made to the original payment method unless you agree to another method.

Store credit will not replace a legally required monetary refund unless you freely agree to receive store credit.

What Happens If a Product Is Faulty or Misdescribed?

We must supply goods that are:

  • Of satisfactory quality
  • Fit for their normal purpose
  • Fit for a particular purpose made known to us and accepted by us
  • Consistent with their description
  • Consistent with an agreed specification

Contact us as soon as reasonably possible if a product does not meet these requirements.

We may request reasonable information such as:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • The date the problem appeared
  • Photographs of the product
  • Photographs of the packaging where relevant

We will not use an unreasonable request for photographs to remove or delay your rights.

First 30 Days

UK consumers generally have a short term right to reject faulty goods during the first 30 days where the legal conditions apply.

After the Short Term Period

Depending on the circumstances, the available remedy may include:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Price reduction
  • Final rejection
  • Full or partial refund

The appropriate remedy depends on the nature of the fault, when it appeared, whether repair or replacement is possible and whether an earlier remedy was unsuccessful.

Your faulty goods rights do not automatically end after 30 days.

How Should Products Be Used and Cared For?

Customers should:

  • Follow supplied instructions
  • Observe age and safety warnings
  • Use products for their intended purpose
  • Store products appropriately
  • Keep products away from excessive heat where instructed
  • Inspect products periodically
  • Stop using damaged products
  • Keep small components away from unsuitable users

Damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modification or failure to follow clear instructions may affect the remedy available where that action caused the problem.

This does not remove our responsibility for an existing defect, inadequate warning, unsafe product or other breach by Aventine Printz Ltd.

What Rules Apply to Accounts and Website Use?

Customer Accounts

Where customer accounts are available, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate account information
  • Keeping login details confidential
  • Using a secure password
  • Restricting unauthorised access to your device
  • Contacting us if you suspect unauthorised account activity

We may temporarily restrict an account where reasonably necessary to protect the customer, the website or another person from fraud or security risks.

An account restriction does not remove rights relating to an existing order.

Acceptable Website Use

You may use the website for lawful personal purposes, including browsing products, placing orders, managing an account, contacting support and submitting custom requests.

You must not use the website in a way that:

  • Breaks the law
  • Infringes another person’s rights
  • Introduces malicious software
  • Attempts unauthorised access
  • Interferes with website operation
  • Makes fraudulent purchases
  • Collects personal information unlawfully
  • Misrepresents your identity
  • Creates an unreasonable automated load on the website

Website Availability

We aim to keep the website available, accurate and secure, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.

Access may be affected by maintenance, security updates, hosting problems, network disruption, technical faults or events outside reasonable control.

Temporary website unavailability does not remove obligations relating to an accepted order.

Third Party Services and Links

The website may use or link to payment providers, delivery services, security providers, social media platforms and external websites.

A third party may apply its own terms and privacy information to its service.

We are not responsible for unrelated third party content that we do not control. This does not remove our responsibility for service providers we use to perform our obligations to you.

How Are Privacy and Order Communications Handled?

We use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.

Personal information may be used for purposes including:

  • Processing orders

  • Arranging delivery
  • Providing customer support
  • Preventing fraud
  • Responding to custom requests
  • Meeting accounting and legal obligations
  • Operating and protecting the website

Appropriate information may be shared with service providers such as payment processors, hosting providers, email services and delivery companies where necessary.

Order communications may include:

  • Order acknowledgements
  • Payment information
  • Production updates
  • Dispatch and delivery information

What Losses Is Aventine Printz Ltd Responsible For?

Foreseeable Loss

If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill.

Loss is foreseeable where it was obvious that it might happen or both parties knew that it might happen when the contract was formed.

Liability That Is Not Excluded

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

This includes liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Defective products where liability cannot be excluded
  • Breach of statutory consumer rights
  • Deliberate misconduct
  • Any responsibility that the law does not allow us to exclude

Personal and Business Loss

Products sold under these consumer Terms are intended primarily for personal use.

We are not normally responsible under a consumer contract for business losses such as loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of commercial opportunity.

Customer Caused Loss

We are not responsible for loss to the extent that it was caused by:

  • Incorrect information supplied by the customer
  • Use contrary to clear instructions or warnings
  • An unauthorised product modification
  • Deliberate misuse
  • Failure to take reasonable steps to reduce avoidable loss

This does not remove responsibility for an underlying defect, inadequate instruction or breach by Aventine Printz Ltd.

What Happens During Events Outside Reasonable Control?

An event outside reasonable control may include:

  • Severe weather
  • Major transport disruption
  • Industrial action
  • Widespread network failure
  • Natural disaster
  • Government restrictions
  • Unexpected supply chain disruption
  • A serious public health emergency

Where such an event affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to:

  • Contact you where appropriate
  • Reduce the effect of the disruption
  • Provide updated information
  • Resume performance where reasonably possible

Your cancellation, refund and delivery rights remain available where the law provides them.

How Can a Customer Make a Complaint?

Contact us if you are dissatisfied with a product, order, delivery, payment, return, refund decision or customer support experience.

Please provide:

  • Your full name
  • Your order number where applicable
  • A clear explanation of the problem
  • The outcome you are seeking
  • Relevant evidence where reasonably available

We will review the complaint fairly and aim to provide a clear response within a reasonable period.

Alternative Dispute Resolution

We encourage customers to contact us first so that we can try to resolve the matter directly.

Where a complaint cannot be resolved, we will provide information about any relevant alternative dispute resolution option where required by law.

We do not currently commit to using a particular alternative dispute resolution provider unless we agree to do so or are legally required to participate.

Contacting us first does not remove your right to seek independent consumer advice or use a court or other remedy available to you.

How May These Terms Be Changed or Administered?

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms because of changes to our products, website, ordering process, payment methods, delivery services, business information, legal obligations or regulatory guidance.

The revised version will show an updated revision date.

Changes to the Terms of Sale normally apply to orders placed after the revised version is published.

We will not use an updated version to unfairly change a contract that has already been formed.

Transferring Our Rights or Obligations

We may transfer our rights or obligations to another organisation where the transfer is lawful, does not reduce your rights and does not cause significant disadvantage.

We will inform you where a transfer materially affects your contract.

Third Party Rights

Unless these Terms expressly state otherwise, a person who is not a party to the contract does not have a right to enforce it under the Contracts Rights of Third Parties Act 1999.

This does not affect a right or remedy available independently of that Act.

No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a provision, this does not mean that we have permanently waived it.

Severability

If a court or competent authority finds part of these Terms unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply where legally possible.

Entire Agreement

Your agreement with us consists of:

  • These Terms
  • The relevant product description
  • The checkout information
  • The accepted order information
  • Any agreed custom specification
  • The policies incorporated into these Terms
  • Any additional written term expressly agreed for the order

Nothing in this section excludes responsibility for fraud or prevents you from relying on a statement that legally forms part of the contract.

Which Law and Courts Apply?

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you retain the benefit of mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

Court Jurisdiction

Customers living in England or Wales may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales.

Customers living in Scotland may normally bring proceedings in the Scottish courts.

Customers living in Northern Ireland may normally bring proceedings in the courts of Northern Ireland.

A customer outside the United Kingdom may also have rights under mandatory laws and jurisdiction rules applicable in their country.

Nothing in these Terms forces a consumer to give up access to a court that the law allows them to use.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

UK consumer law may provide protection where goods are:

  • Faulty
  • Unsafe
  • Not of satisfactory quality
  • Not fit for their normal purpose
  • Not fit for an agreed particular purpose
  • Not as described
  • Incorrectly supplied
  • Delivered late
  • Lost before delivery

Relevant legislation may include the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges Regulations 2013, the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, applicable product safety legislation and applicable data protection legislation.
